Here are some of the speakers that have had a great impact in my life. By clicking on their name you can go on to listen to some of their messages, and, if I have found a site for their materials, I have included the link for you.

Darlene Rose

Darlene Diebler Rose was a missionary in Papua New Guinea during World War II. She survived four years in a Japanese prison camp. Her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ sustained her during those years. Her testimony is so powerful that a movie will be made from her book in the next few years. Rose died on February 24, 2004. (For more messages by this speaker go to DiscipleshipLibrary.com).

Dawson Trotman

Through the worldwide Christian organization he founded, The Navigators, Dawson Trotman helped bring back some forgotten Biblical truths: maintaining the basic disciplines of the Christ-centered Spirit-filled life, abiding in the Word of God, the importance of personal follow-up, one-on-one discipleship training, and principles for multiplying Christian disciples, laborers, and equippers around the world. Howard Hendricks

One of the nation’s most energetic and inspiring Bible teachers, Howard Hendricks has shared the Word in more than 80 countries around the world. He has also written more than a dozen books on family life and Christian discipleship. Dr. Hendricks is a distinguished professor and Chairman of the Center for Christian Leadership at Dallas Theological Seminary. He has also served on the board of directors for The Navigators and Ronald Blue & Co. The following messages were presented at conferences for The Navigators. Jim Peterson

Jim Petersen is the International Vice President for The Navigators. He pioneered the Navigator ministry in Brazil, and has been involved in similar ministries in other Latin American countries, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. Leroy Eims

LeRoy Eims served with The Navigators for over 50 years in a variety of ministries, including Director of U.S. Ministries, International Ministry Representative, and Director of Evangelism Worldwide. Lorne Sanny

Lorne Sanny, mentored by Navigator founder Dawson Trotman, was the Navigator General Director for 30 years. Loren Sanny was a man who has lived his life consistently following Christ. His life is an example to anyone who wants to finish well in life. He had extensive discipling experience and generously passed it on to others. Paul Stanley

Paul Stanley came to know Christ at an early age and later graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He served seven years in the US Army in Germany, the United States and Vietnam. In 1970 He went on staff with The Navigators and has served in numerous cities in the U.S. and Europe. Paul now spends much of his time coaching leaders throughout the world as a part of LDN (Leadership Development Network). Phyllis Stanley

After college, Phyllis met and married the love of her life, Paul Stanley. For a number of years they worked in both military and collegiate ministry until they were asked to open up a new work in Eastern Europe and Russia. Phyllis's heart has been for evangelism and discipling young women through regularly meeting in Bible Study.She has a passion for hospitality and using her home as a platform for ministry. Terry Cook

Terry Cook has been on staff with the Navigators for many years, serving on several campuses and then as the U.S collegiate director for the Navigators. For several years he ministered on Capitol Hill with legislators and their aides. He currently works training and mentoring leaders around the world with Leadership Development Network. Tom Nelson

Tom Nelson is the Pastor of Denton Bible Church, located in Denton, Texas. He graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's Degree in Education and received a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is the author of three books: The Book of Romance, The Big Picture: Understanding the Story of the Bible, and The Problem of Life with God. Walt Henrichsen

Walt Henrichsen, a graduate of Western Seminary in Holland, MI, is with Leadership Foundation, a ministry to help business and professional men integrate their commitment to Christ through their vocation. Prior to this, Walt worked with the Navigators for nearly 20 years. He has authored more than 10 books including the best-selling classic Disciples are Made, Not Born. He and his wife, Leette have four children. Howard Hendricks of Dallas Seminary has called Walt one of the greatest disciplers of men in the world today.
